Deleting your account
You can delete your Live Links Golf account and its data yourself, from inside the app. No email to us, no waiting on a reply.
How to do it
- Open the app and sign in.
- Tap You, then Account.
- Choose Delete account at the foot of the screen.
- Confirm. You'll be signed out on every device.
What gets deleted
- Your name, email address and sign-in credentials.
- Your handicap index and its scoring differentials.
- Your membership of every event, and any device registered for notifications.
- Events you own outright, with their rounds, scores, games and money lists.
What stays, and why
Scores you posted in someone else's event stay on that event's card, because deleting them would change another group's settled leaderboard and money list. Your name is removed from those rows. Purchase and tax records are kept as long as the law requires.
If you run a league
Hand your events to another commissioner before you delete, or they go with you. The app will name the events at risk before it lets you confirm.
How long it takes
Deletion happens immediately. Encrypted backups are overwritten on their normal cycle within 30 days, after which nothing remains.
Can't get in?
Write to support@32technologies.com from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you.
