1 · Accounts and who is responsible

An account belongs to one person. The person who creates an event — the commissioner — controls its roster, its rounds, its games and its money figures, and is responsible for the accuracy of what is entered there. Players who score through a texted link do not need an account and are not asked to create one.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself, and for anything done under your account.

2 · Money between players

Live Links Golf calculates and records what a game says each player owes or is owed. It does not hold, transfer, process or escrow money, and it is not a party to any wager between players. Cash changes hands between you, not through us. You are responsible for whether the games you run are lawful where you play them.

3 · What you pay for

Free use requires no payment and no card. An Event Pass and a Clubhouse are each a one-time charge covering one event; nothing renews and there is no subscription. Moving an event from an Event Pass up to a Clubhouse costs the difference between the two, and you are not charged twice for the same event. Prices in effect are those shown on the pricing section of this site at the time of purchase.

Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are also subject to that store's own terms and refund policy.

4 · Public boards

A commissioner can publish an event's board to a public web address. Anyone holding that address can see the event name, the course, player names as entered, scores, standings and the money list. Publishing is the commissioner's decision; the address can be revoked from the event's settings, which takes the board offline.

5 · Handicaps

Live Links Golf implements the published World Handicap System calculation. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the USGA, The R&A, any national association or any golf club, and an index maintained here is not an official handicap index issued by an authorised handicapping body.

6 · Acceptable use

• Don't add a person's name or contact details to an event without their say-so.
• Don't attempt to reach events, boards or accounts you weren't given access to.
• Don't scrape, resell or republish another group's data.
• Don't use Live Links Golf to run anything illegal where you are.

7 · Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We aim to keep it up and correct, but we do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that every figure is free of error — check a settlement before money changes hands. To the maximum extent the law allows, 32 Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8 · Ending it

You can delete your account at any time — see deleting your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Sections 2, 7 and 9 survive the end of your use.

9 · Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Questions go to support@32technologies.com.
