Run the trip.
Live Links Golf does the money.

The golf trip app for whoever runs it. Twelve guys, four rounds, six games a day. Scores from the cart, a live board on every phone, every dollar settled to the cent. Nobody argues on Sunday night.

You're the one holding everybody's twenty dollars.

Somebody books the tee times, sets the games and does the math on Sunday. Today that's a spreadsheet, a group text and a folded scorecard.

  • Set the games once. Every round inherits them.
  • Scores come in from the carts, not from you.
  • The money list writes itself — and it balances.
The organiser at the first tee on a misty morning, phone in one hand and coffee in the other, carts and the rest of the group behind him.

Set it up at the kitchen table. Or on the first tee.

Pick the courses, paste in the names, choose the games.

  • Nearly forty games — skins, teams, closest to the pin, low net — each with its own pot.
  • Groups drawn from a hat, set by hand, or paired so everyone plays with everyone.
  • Only you sign up. Players get a scoring link by text.
  • Late arrival? One tap puts them on the roster.

Score from the cart.

One tap per score, saved as you go.

  • One scorer per group, on any phone. No app, no login.
  • One bar of signal is plenty. Scores save on the phone and send when they can.
  • Every phone updates before the group reaches the next tee.
  • Day two picks up where day one left off — same roster, same games.

One link. Everybody watching the same numbers.

One web address. No account, no install.

  • Live positions and skins as they're won
  • The running money
  • A written recap of the day, posted by the organizer in one tap

Send it to the family back home and the friend who couldn't make it.

Settle the whole trip from one list.

Every dollar in shows up as a dollar out, on one list for the whole trip.

Strokes off the right tee, for every player.

Real World Handicap System math, built in.

  • Differentials, caps, course and playing handicaps — all calculated.
  • Strokes off each player's own tee, whites against blues, on every course.
  • Every round counts. Players with an account keep their index and a free career page.

Before, during and after the trip.

The scoring is the part everybody sees. These are the parts the organizer used to do on a spreadsheet.

Before

Trip infoThe house, the door code, who's in which room, when dinner is. One page everyone on the trip reads, started from an outline or last year's.
CalendarEach player's rounds, tee time and group in Apple or Google Calendar, kept up to date when the groups change.
Tee timesSet the first tee and the gap. Every group gets its time, however the groups were made.
PairingsPair every round at once so everybody plays with everybody. Sixteen players over five rounds meet each other exactly once.
Dues"Deposit, $250 each, to Rick", ticked off as it comes in. Whoever hasn't paid owes it on the settle-up.

Nobody picks a golf app for these. Everybody notices when they're missing.

What organizers ask first.

Does everybody on the trip need to download an app or sign up?

No. Only the organizer signs up. Each group's scorer gets a scoring link by text and scores in any phone's browser, with no app and no login. The live board is one link anyone can open. iPhone and Android apps are coming soon.

Can it run a Ryder Cup format for our trip?

Yes. Turn on the cup and the trip plays two teams with captains for the whole event. Each round is a session of fourball, foursomes, shamble, scramble or singles, worth half a point to three points a match, and the cup board shows the points live. When the teams don't come out even, the extra player sits out a match or the lone player takes on both in singles.

How do handicaps work on a trip?

Each player plays off their own index, with strokes worked out by World Handicap System math off whichever tee they play. By default each player keeps the number they started the trip on, all the way through, and the organizer can change one by hand.

Does Live Links Golf hold the money?

No. It works out who pays whom, across the bets and the shared costs, in the fewest payments. Each line opens Venmo, Cash App or PayPal with the amount filled in, or shows a Zelle email or number to copy, and the payer, the payee or the organizer can mark it paid.

What if there's no signal on the course?

Scores save on the phone and send when there's a bar of signal again. A dead zone on the 14th costs nothing.

What does a golf trip cost to run on it?

The trip is $99 once for up to eight rounds, about $8 a head for twelve players. Nothing renews, and players never pay.

It runs the Wednesday league and the member-guest, too. And just today.

Same scoring, same games, same money list. What changes is how long it remembers.

Four shapes of golf. Pick the one that's yours.

Per event, paid once. Nothing renews. Players never pay.
